Muthill Golf Club has a well earned reputation for having a beautiful, well maintained parkland course, which our Ladies’ section appreciate and enjoy.

Our Ladies’ section is very friendly, offering a warm welcome to new members and visitors, whilst aiming to be inclusive and encouraging.

We have a healthy membership and, as a 9 hole course (with 18 tees), we are a great size for golfers of all levels and standards; whether you are an experienced player, or have never picked up a club before. The length of the course means you can fit in an 18 hole round in 2 and half to 3 hours.

Our annual fixture list includes a mix of competition golf, fun games, friendly matches against local clubs and our two Ladies Opens - Ladies 18 Hole Greensomes Open and Ladies 9 Hole Open.

Our main ‘silverware’ competitions are played on a Thursday during the summer season with three tee time draws available; in the morning, at lunchtime and early evening. As working ladies are an integral part of the club, the early evening tee times are popular.

Tuesday competition days offer more opportunities to play in both 9 and 18 hole qualifying competitions. These games offer the chance to enter scorecards towards getting a handicap, or to get back into the swing of golf after time away. There are also always ladies willing to go out for a bounce game and mark a card for handicap purposes.

For those prepared to brave the elements, our winter golf consists of 9 hole winter league games on Tuesdays and Saturdays at 10am, and fun charity games on Thursdays at 10am. 

We are always grateful, after all morning competitions, for the excellent food provided by Jacq, our caterer. Soup, hot/cold filled rolls, toasties, scones, cakes - just what’s required at the end of a round!

We are proud of our commitment to fundraising activities each year, including our Coffee Morning in March and Duck Race in June.

We share a reciprocal arrangement with Aberfeldy, Comrie, Craigie Hill, Crieff, Dunning, Killin, Muckhart and St Fillans, which allows us to book tee times at these clubs at reduced prices.
